Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your support at the recent Boneo Park CDI 3*. We were thrilled with the positive responses from competitors, public, volunteers and sponsors alike.

This event was the first competition for Australian based dressage riders to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics. 4 riders, Chantal Wigan, Gitte Donvig, Mary Hanna and our own Fiona McNaught all received the required 64% from our international 5* judge and an average of more than 64% combined from all judges in the Grand Prix to give them their first of the two required qualifying scores.

Chantal Wigan and Ferero won all three Big Tour events as did Maree Tomkinson with her beautiful mare Diamantina IV in the Small Tour. Other winners included Lesley- Anne Taylor in the Novice Championship, Jacinta Abernethy in the 4 year old, Hayley Gilbert winning the 5 year old and Maree Tomkinson winning the 6 year old with Debstar.

This event saw a lovely introduction into the major events on the Dressage calendar for 2011 and certainly put Boneo Park on the world stage. With Dressage and Jumping with the Stars only a week after the Boneo Park CDI, March was always set to be a busy time. We now turn our focus towards the Sydney CDI at the end of April.

March also saw 3 beautiful clinics conducted at Boneo Park. The month began with Hayley Beresford conducting her first ever clinic at the picturesque Boneo Park. Her impressions from the Melbourne clinic can be found at her website here.

Brett Parbery and Lone Joergensen also made use of the lovely facilities here in March and we thank all the riders who came down and supported these clinics.

The first weekend in April will bring about new beginnings. Boneo Park will be playing host to the Red Hill Show Show Jumping competition on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April. If you are in the area make sure you come down and say hello and watch many Olympic Showjumpers in action. 

We are also delighted to have Chantal Wigan and Ferero based at Boneo Park until the Sydney CDI, it is our pleasure to have them here and we wish them all the best in their preparations for London Olympics selection

Wings for WEG Gala Ball

It's that time of year again when we all like to Party!

The Wings for WEG GALA BALL presented by Boneo Park
at Zinc, Federation Square, Melbourne.

Boneo Park Equestrian Club not only endeavors to assist riders with their competitive aspirations, but is also keen to focus on the fun and social aspect of riding. As well as encouraging participation, improving the sport across all levels, and running clinics and competitions, the club promotes community involvement, prestige and rider progression that we believe no other equestrian club offers.

Gold members can take advantage of top coaches, have priority entry to highly demanded clinics, and discounted competition rates. Gold members will also be invited to not to be missed social events at Boneo Park.

Silver membership is suitable for those wanting to take advantage of discounted rates at Boneo Park competitions and training days. All Boneo Park members experience first class facilities, coaching and become part of a supportive team with whom they can share their equestrian experience.

For all categories of Gold membership new members must initially pay the joining fee and annual subscription fee.
To renew existing memberships, only the annual subscription fee is payable.

To classify as a long term Boneo Park agistee, a horse must have been agisted at Boneo Park continuously for at least six months and be a current agistees at the time of renewal/joining.

Boneo Park memberships start on the date that you join, and are valid for 12 months from that date. Fees are annual payments that are due at the beginning of your membership year.
