Here We (Nearly) Are : Twenty Twelve

We hope this finds you very well and that you have had and are ready to embrace a new year!

There are some really cool new releases heading your way from Jazzhead and awesome new signings on Head Records.

Do you like a little country flavour mixed with your rock n roll?

Do you like happy pop melodies a la Monique diMattina?

And/or what about great modern jazz drawing on soul, world and avant-garde influences?

All have samples of sound here and if you like all will be available and release in the coming few months. We will certainly be letting you know.

Here's to a bumper 2012. We look forward to sharing it with you!

Stephen Cummings Second Last Release Ever!

Singer-songwriter Stephen Cummings, is arguably the most consistent recording artist in Australia, his lyricism and gracefulness of his songs is addictive. He has recorded 24 albums, had two novels published as well as a brazen memoir.

Now the world according to Stephen will have us believe there are only 2 albums left for him to record. Ever.

So here is Reverse Psychology a witty, subversive, LOUD album of soulful, melodic but funky pop music.

To be released on Feb 24 thru Head Records.

The launch at Caravan Club, Oakleigh on Feb 24.

Check Out The Coolest Alt Country Band : Stoney Joe

We are very excited to be releasing this awesome album by the outstandingly fine Australian country/rock band Stoney Joe.

Straight-up fingerpickin’ country guitar, ukelele and mandolin with outback beats, sub-bass landscapes and flowing melodies. And big hats. Inspired by the great expanses of Western Australia and beyond.

Music made to go down real easy.

Nick Haywood's 1234 Killer Reviews

It is such a wonderful thing when truly talented musicians are recognized as such.

Nick Haywood's debut album 1234 has received many high praises from across the country. It's a beauty. On high rotation here is the beautiful track "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain" (Willie Nelson!).
