10-year-old students outchess NAB employees!

Students from 2010 Impact Award winning school, Winters Flat Primary School from Castlemaine, Victoria, put out a challenge to Melbourne-based NAB employees to take them on in a game of chess. The schools Chess-Squared program introduces the game of chess to the maths program to help improve numeracy and literacy skills in students. The results have been amazing to date, which showed as NAB employees were left scratching their heads as the students out-strategised and out-played them, winning 64-25. One employee was stunned when he was defeated in 37 seconds! Read more about the Chess Challenge and this award winning partnership.
