10 DAYS TO GO - Apply Now!

Schools have 10 days to submit their applications for a 2010 Schools First Impact or Seed Funding Award before they close at 5.00pm (AEST) on Friday, 30 July 2010. Applications will only be accepted via the online form. All relevant documents relating to the application process can be found in the Application Pack. To download these documents and submit your application, please visit the Awards Application page.

Application questions answered online

Get involved in the Online Discussion Forums to get your award application questions answered by the Schools First team. The forums will be held between 12.00pm and 3.00pm (AEST) weekdays until Friday, 30 July. Click here to get involved. Chatham High School wins Apple iMac!

Congratulations to Chatham High School in Taree, NSW for winning the Early Bird competition after submitting their application for a 2010 Schools First Award before 5.00pm (AEST) on Friday, 9 July. The school will receive a 27" 2.66Ghz 4GB iMac computer with Apple Keyboard, and an AppleCare Protection Plan which provides a three year warranty. The prize is valued at $2800. Thank you to all the schools who entered.

Win an Apple iPad - refer your friends

Schools First mailing list subscribers can win an Apple iPad by referring their friends to also join our mailing list. You can only enter the competition once but can refer up to 20 friends maximum. For each friend you refer, you'll receive one entry into the prize draw. The competition closes at 5.00pm (AEST) on Friday, 30 July 2010. Click here to enter.

'Dreamers' artwork up for grabs

The 'dreamers' artwork displayed at Birrarung Marr in Melbourne as part of NAB's 150 year anniversary celebrations are up for grabs. Art students will enjoy decorating the artwork (pictured right) which is made from fibreglass and has a steel base. It is liftable, but heavy, and is approximately 2.5 metres high and one metre wide. There are 150 available with a limit of five per organisation, on a first-come-first-served basis. Interested organisations will need to arrange pick up from North Melbourne (VIC) only, on a specified date.
